We were on our way to Winterland to see the show... about 2 miles from the Oakland Bay Bridge, I looked up to see a Corvair stopped and sideways in our lane, no lights on. My buddy hit the brakes and our piece of shit wagon slid into the number two lane. The last thing I saw was a womans face illuminated by the headlights of the car that was behind us. We missed their car by about 12. The car behind us made impact. I never bothered to check the papers, as I am certain they were all killed. I can still see the womans face. ZZ Top opened the show.
