We were on the road quite a bit and saw several different cities...but the one we really fell in love with was the Rapid City, South Dakota area. From Spearfish to Custer....it is such an interesting area with incredible vistas and friendly people. The downtown is super charming and big. They have kept up all the old facades on the buildings. They have two performing venues for music. With its close proximity to Colorado and Montana and the West Coast it is quite a city. We enjoyed watching the planes as well with Ellsworth AFB there. Great place to be and the air is different with no mosquitos. Okay, we are taken with the town. ;)
