We were out of the area and we just got home around 9 PM. There is a heavy smell of fire in the air, and lots a smoke haze in every direction. It is obvious that there is a forest fire, but I cannot tell where it is and I cannot find any news stories about local fires yet. Reminds me of how dumb it is to sell explosives in the forest and encourage all the drunken partiers to set them off to "celebrate the 4th of July." Kind of scarey when we live in the forest.
