We were really progressing team -- can I ask once again that we read and keep the community guidelines in mind. If we all maintain a civil tone and respectful openness to hearing one anothers points of view -- that does not mean agreeing -- then disruptions wont get far and we will learn a lot more. I am highlighting Jennifer Slatterys good research below in the Guardian document, identifying the calorie count assigned by Israel to a blockaded Gaza of 2100 calories a day....we get further when we focus on facts. I also note that Obama is making headlines weighing strikes in Iraq - in a situation that has been a crisis for some time. There is a use of timing in statecraft that, when I worked as a political consultant, was called understatedly, changing the subject...it is useful when a message has gone awry.
