We were sitting in church today and were almost at the end of the service when a lady came in crying and asked for some help (traveling issues). Immediately our preacher Henry invited her in and prayed with her and the women got the travelers food from the kitchen. The men went out and fixed their vehicle. Over the years I have caught hell from some folks about going to this little church maybe because we dont really have a denomination even though we are mostly Baptist. Maybe because none of us are perfect ( like they are) but I witnessed first hand love and compassion for others today. I love my church family and Im proud to be a member of Baconton Community Church. We all have things we will have to answer for but not loving our fellow man want be one of them and when you get right down to it isnt that what its all about anyway.
