We were soo happy to see Makenzie yesterday. I cant remember something that has made me as happy as seeing her smile and wave yesterday did (she was smiling even after a LOONG day of therapy). As I said the day of the accident, this is tragic and there is no one who deserves something like this accident LESS than Makenzie....The silver lining that gave me hope on that night was that Makenzie has all the tools (mentally, spiritually, physically, socially, etc.) to get through such a difficult trial and she has exceeded my highest expectations. Its also neat to see she has such an incredible family and friends to support her through. That smile of hers on Sunday, has fueled me through today. Makenzie, as you go through the therapy and rehabilitation, and have days where it is harder to smile, you have 4,000+ people on this FB page alone to smile back-atcha and fuel you. We love ya!
