We were told that winter is coming yet Green Island, Taiwan is still warm for traveling. Green Island is a small volcanic Island in the Pacific Ocean about 21mi off the eastern coast of Taiwan. The weather here is classified as tropical monsoon climate. The unique history, weather and geography create the diversity of Green Island tourism industry. Here are some local tourist attractions for your guidance. 1. Jhaorih Hot Spring: One of the three marine hot springs in the world. 2. Green Island (Lyudao) Lighthouse: Landmark with 33.3 m in height. American Red Cross donated as a thanksgiving to local people who had rescued the passengers of the ship. Human Right Culture Park: Opened in 2001, in memory of those who scarified for Taiwans freedom, democracy and human rights during the period of martial rule.
