We were two vigorously fighting for her love. She was not sure - TopicsExpress

We were two vigorously fighting for her love. She was not sure who to choose so she asked us to go home and each bring a poem the next day. He struggled with grammar and his accent when speaking English could be mistaken by historians to be a long lost ancient language. So, I was sure she would choose me. Brightly as the morning began I was the first to arrive her door and when we couldnt wait for him any longer, she asked me to start. I was saying the last lines when he arrived. My poem read as thus: I wished for a dream to meld my world with yours only that I cannot dream as your thoughts makes it imposssible for me to sleep. You have entranced beauty with nature itself as your weilding wand. All eyes that behold your grandeur are doomed by blindness of all things ugly. Diamonds and pearls hath no meaning as the sun only shines the colour of night, if it not illuminate your face and figure. Let me come close and plant a kiss that will grow to a love that has only been imagined by cupids infant mind... By the time I was done there were tears in her eyes. She turned to him and said she could hardly think of how possible it would be to tople my poem but to be fair, he should read his. He handed her a short piece of paper and said he would prefer her to read it herself. When she read it, I saw her face change to several colours I doubt if I have seen in a crayon box. She leaped like an Australian Kangaroo and gave him a kiss the French would envy. She didnt even have the time to tell me good bye. I toiled all night to write a perfect poem but all this bastard wrote was if you is be weith me, I was give you N2 million for now, and if you mairries me I wis builts you 2 hawses and honi moont in Dubai.
