We will be here awhile. Emma is very sick. At this point they are thinking just viral. They have her on 8 liters of oxygen. To put this in perspective, we had her on 2 liters at home and her sats were on average 95. Last night we could barely hit 88 on 8 liters. They are doing respiratory treatments every 4 hours and suctioning the tons of mucus that is coming out of this child. The big respiratory guy last night said several times how strong she is as he and the nurse had to hold her down. She is quite the fighter. We are all pretty tired today. She has had low grade fever at times, coughing, sneezing, and extra fluid around lungs. We hope this passes soon. Thanks for the prayers and kind words. It has been awhile since we have been in the hospital and for that we are grateful. We are happy to see our friends here at ACH, but sad Emma is so sick.
