We will be traveling soon and I am TERRIFIED of flying so my Dr. prescribed me .5 mg of Xanax for the flights. Im not worried about being loopy because my husband will be with me to help with our baby. However, the Dr. said I cant breastfeed for 24-48 hours if I take it. That seems pretty extreme for one pill? Has anyone had experience with this? If thats the case then Im just gonna have to suffer through the flight and hope I dont have an anxiety attack! I should have noted that my baby is actually 15 months and only breastfeeds 3-4 times a day only for a minute or so at a time, but most likely on the plane she will want to nurse more.-Anonymous
