We will close out this season of Community Cinema tomorrow, Thursday, May 22 at 7:30 pm at the WP Comm Theatre The film is The Trials of Muhammad Ali and it is really amazing. It covers the time when Cassius Clay became the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion and at the same time, converts to Islam, changes his name to Muhammad Ali, and after being drafted into the Army, refuses to serve in Viet Nam as a Conscientious Objector. He chooses faith and conscience over fame and fortune. It tells the story from the basis of belief and faith. Again, an amazing telling of a familiar story. Please make time to come and see this. Admission is FREE. Concessions will be available for purchase. Discussion will follow the film. Our discussion leaders are Gwen LIndberg and Tom Black.
