We will gather in prayer for Two Heal the Land Services starting at 12:15 Saturday afternoon November 16, 2013 following the homicide of Sylvanus Tarpley Williams, 36, of Indianapolis, who was killed by gunshot and was Allen County’s 40th homicide in 2013. We will gather at the apartments at the Black Bear Creek complex, 1680 Reed Road.For this Service. As this is reported to have been a home invasion where the home owner shot the invader we will be using the alternative service. Following this service we will travel to the outside front of Premium Cuts in the 3500 block of South Calhoun Street, across the street from South Side High School. This is the location where Brandon Dock, 40, of Fort Wayne was shot to death at about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon November 6, 2013. His shooting death becomes the 41st homicide in Allen County in 2013. Lord we cry out to you. Each day we learn of brothers and sisters involved some how with the violence that has claimed our city. Help us to reach out to be a part of a better life for all of our brothers and sisters. Help us to be a part of an end to all the senseless pain and death. We pray Lord show us the way. Amen
