We will remember them - ka maumahara tonu. Today, at Parliament we commemorated in a very moving ceremony the 100th anniversary of the start of World War 1, and planted a Field of Remembrance on the lawn. On a personal note, I remembered my grandfather, Hoani Haereoa Parata, who served as a chaplain during the War, and whose health, like many others, was much impaired by the experience and died far too young. We will remember them.
