We woman have our loves. Mine is the perfect lipstick. My sister loves shoes. My mom has a love affair with purses. When she worked at Dillards she would splurge on every designer bag on sale. She loved her purse. So when she left it in my car last weekend after family dinner, I decided to hold it for her and could not believe how heavy it was. I decided to take a peek. My heart just melted at her contents. In it was her favorite shoes, minus its companion. There were three necklaces, two tissue containers, a discarded almond joy wrapper, eye makeup and a tube of lipstick. A beautiful multi- colored scarf was neatly folded within and a pill holder full of candy chocolate mints was among her many items. Her drivers license holder without a license and a flyer, wishing her a Happy Birthday. I sat back and held each item, knowing she held them too. How precious is her purse that is full of her? How precious is she? Too precious for words...
