We would like to announce plans to open the Tarpon Springs Little League Pro Shop for the 2015 Season. It will be a Buy-Sell-Trade Format and located at the South end of the League Office (formerly the Girls Concession). We are seeking donations of new and used baseball and softball equipment or there will also be the ability to leave items on consignment (details below). Heres how it will work: Buy - New and Used items will be available in exchange for a donation to the League Sell - Place your items (new or like new or gently used only) on consignment. When it sells, youll get 50% and the League gets 50%. Trade - Trade your new or gently used items for items comparable in condition and quality! A great option if you need to upgrade in size etc. NOTE: Some donated equipment may be made available at little or no cost to our disadvantaged families and players DONATE YOUR NEW OR GENTLY USED BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL EQUIPMENT! Most of us have Baseball and Softball Equipment lying around that our players have either outgrown or simply dont use anymore. If you donate it to the League it can benefit us as a source of donations or maybe benefit a family that doesnt have the means to supply items for their player! We just ask that you donate items that are either new or gently used. In other words, if you wouldnt have your own player use it it probably would not be something we would want to have. Types of Items We Are Looking For: Bats - Little League approved, no dents etc. Gloves - Leather or Leather and Mesh combination. No plastic material gloves or gloves missing lacing etc. Equipment/Bat Bags - Free of tears, rips (small perforations from wear ok) and zippers in working order Baseballs/Softballs - New Balls (always needed) and used balls that are dry with covers and stitching in tact (can be sold as practice balls) Batting Helmets - Little League approved, no cracks or deep gouges. Baseball/Softball Pants - free of holes etc. Other Baseball/Softball Apparel - Padded undergarments, protective gear etc. NO athletic supports or cups please! Baseball/Softball Training Equipment - Batting Tees, Pitch backs, other training aids that are not missing pieces and usable. Event Tickets - Have tickets to a Rays game, Threshers game or Dunedin Blue Jays game you cant attend? Donate your tickets to benefit the league! TSLL is a 503C non-profit so your donations are tax deductible and will benefit the League or a needy family!
