We would like to introduce you to three of the brain tumor - TopicsExpress

We would like to introduce you to three of the brain tumor patients we have been able to help due to the generosity of many people like you. Jenny is a 35 year old single mother of 3. She has a Grade III Oligodendroglioma. She is unable to work due to the debilitating effects of the brain cancer. She is in active treatment and receiving ongoing chemotherapy treatments. She cannot drive, as she has seizures due to the pressure the tumor is putting on her brain. We were able to making 2 months of mortgage payments for her, so she and her daughters can stay in their home. Sonia is 16 years old and has a Germonoma brain tumor, as well as Type II Diabetes. She has just finished radiation treatments and is now receiving chemotherapy. The family had to take out a home equity loan to make ends meet, as her parents have had to become her caregivers. We were able to make a payment on their loan, so they would be able to use their money to pay other bills related to Sonias treatments. Daniel is 34 years old and suffers from a Grade III Anaplastic oligoastrocyoma brain tumor. He has had surgery, radiation and chemotherapy within the past year. He has been unable to work and receives SSD Disability payments, but they dont take care of all of his needs. We paid his moving expenses, so he could move from Colorado to Wyoming to be near his young son. Today, December 2nd is Giving Tuesday. A day set aside to support nonprofits - a day that can make a difference in the lives of people like Jenny and Sonia and Daniel.
