We would like to say a special THANKS to Eric Short as he steps into a new chapter of his life. It has been great working along side Eric for the past 20 years. We are exciting to see what all amazing things he will accomplish in the future!!!!!!! From Eric, Today, I finish a chapter of my life that I have spent the last 20 years writing. I am leaving the Glover Drug Family as a pharmacist to follow the call of God on my life in full time ministry. I will be joining the amazing team at Church of the Highlands. First of all, I want to thank Ken Glover, my Jr. High Sunday School teacher, High School Sunday School teacher, College & Career Sunday School teacher, fellow musician, mentor, counselor, financial advisor, colleague, employer, business partner, and most importantly, FRIEND, for giving me one of the greatest opportunities in my life…the opportunity to work and learn from him. Much of who I am today is because of Ken’s influence on my life. I leave with Kens blessing. I want to thank my family—my amazing wife Mindy Sides Short and children who have walked beside me and encouraged me during this stressful but exciting process… mom and dad Rodger Short, Sandra Aultman Short for always being on my side and encouraging me…my brother Adam Short & Stacey Short for always listening to my heart and praying for me...my in-laws Tommy Sides Crystal Goodwin Sides Jacob Sides for their prayers and constant support. I want to thank Sam Glover for showing me how to communicate and serve the community. I can’t imagine how different this area would be without Mr. Sam and his family. Brandon Myers for being a lifelong friend, brother, and business partner, and for being there for me in the difficult times. Julian Maddox for giving me a fresh/different perspective on life and pharmacy and for treating me like one of his sons. Steven L. Aderholt for being a lifelong friend, brother, and sounding board. Ken Glovers Cordova Drug has hired Tina Dover Herron to take over my responsibilities. I am truly a blessed man.
