We would like to thank the 45 volunteers that participated in the National Public Lands Day at Cowanesque Lake on Saturday 9/27. In cooperation from the Ocean Conservancy and Keep PA Beautiful a total of 15 tires were removed from the shoreline along with 468 pounds of garbage. The most unusual item collected was part of a bus seat. During the course of the day volunteers provided 225 hours of service. Please join us again next year for National Public Lands Day
