He has the heart of a King and the blood of a slave, Mrhiphop@ve spent the first six years of his life growing up singing in the choir. Having played football and the drums from an early age, it wasnt until moving to Hawthorne that he realized that his life would change. At age sixteen, already a fan of such popular hip hop artists as Run DMC and The Beastie Boys, Mrhiphop@ve began listening to the various hiphop and r&b soul. Inspired, Mrhiphopa@ve began writing poetry to express how he felt. The young poet then didnt realize that he had a gift . A year later, soul singer Dave Soul took him under his wing and inspired him to want to do something with this talent. This and other insights on music boosted mrHiphop@ve confidence and helped promote his more seriousminded music career. Fusing soul and hip hop with his knowledge of life, love, and relationships, MrHiphop@ve eventually embarked on his first solo project.
