Weak Hamstrings? Strengthen them with stiff leg deadlifts. Stiff leg deadlifts are similar to traditional deadlifts with a few changes. Start with the bar about an inch to an inch and a half from your shins, keep your hips high, pick your chest up to create a neutral spine (flat back), create tension in your hamstrings, and pull the bar up your legs. Squeeze your hamstrings throughout the whole movement and lower the bar slowly on the way down. Always maintain a flat back throughout the entire movement! This exercise isolates the hamstrings more than a conventional deadlift and also helps strengthen the lower back. #letsgetstrong #bodybuilding #hams&glutes
