Weather Channel on Cable TV in CO. Has anyone else noticed that the Spanish-language (written) version shown on the weather channel often has a significantly different forecast from the English-language version? Usually, the Spanish-language version is noticeably more accurate than the English-language version, too! At first, I just assumed it was only a straightforward translation, but, when I looked more closely, noticed that the Spanish-language forecast was more specific about probable snow, amounts of snow, etc.: often, the Spanish-language forecast is for light snow mixed with some rain when the English-language forecast is just for cloudy weather. Also, the temperatures (in degrees Fahrenheit) differed. Etc. The Spanish-language forecast is more accurate, more dependable, so whoever is doing that forecast deserves more money. Further, I think that the identities of those who make the forecasts should be provided, simply as a matter of professionalism. And, no, although I can get by in Spanish, I am an Anglo, at least for the past several hundreds of years of ancestry. My endorsement of those meteorological forecasts is based solely on excellence and not biased one iota.
