Weather Guru Outlook for the rest of the week for the Eastern Cape: From the western areas of the Eastern Cape, it will become cloudy with light showers on Tuesday night, gradually moving eastwards. By Wednesday evening continuing into Thursday, heavy rain is expected west of Cape St Francis and the adjacent interior (Plettenberg Bay and Joubertina areas). Some localized flooding can be expected in low lying areas. DISRUPTIVE Snowfalls are expected over the Sneeuberg (Graaf-Renet area) and Southern Drakensberg (Elliot, Barkley East area) on Thursday. Motorists are advised to adjust routes and to avoid mountain passes as there is a strong possibility of road closures during this period.
