Weather Highlights (including Thanksgiving): Gradual warming all week. Next storm system arrives this weekend. Look for light rain for E OK and parts of TX Friday and then heavy rain for E 2/3rds of OK and a large chunk of TX on Saturday. No snow showing up at this time. The upper pattern is trying to go more zonal across the US so less extreme cold air intrusions this far south. That wont last long of course. Im sure December will spank us. As far as Thanksgiving goes, a cold front will work through the state and may end up stalling across the Red River valley Thursday afternoon. Cold north/warm south with some light rain for Thurs night/Friday. Too early to see if there will be enough cold air with it or enough lift to produce anything frozen. Stay tuned!
