A cold front approaching from the west will weaken to the southwest of Tasmania overnight. Another cold front will move over the south of Tasmania late on Friday, as a high builds to the west. This high will pass to the south of Tasmania on Saturday, then become established over the Tasman Sea on Sunday as a trough approaches the state from the northwest.
