Weather Update: There have been reports of small hail and power outages in the Grand Valley due to a strong line of storms that are passing through right now. THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO SEVERE WEATHER WARNINGS. Some of the storms have been reported to contain strong winds, small hail, and heavy rainfall. Please use caution if you are outdoors. The line of storms will be passing through quickly. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS PLEASE POST THEM HERE! A passing front along with a low pressure system brought cooler weather to the Western Slope on Sunday, as well as a good amount of moisture. Scattered showers will diminish as the sun sets, and the clouds will begin to clear out as well. Temperatures Sunday night will be cooler than what weve been seeing, with lows in the upper 40s. Winds will be out of the E at 10 to 15 mph. Flood Advisories and Red Flag Warnings are posted for areas on the Western Slope. Flood Advisories are in effect until further notice for Mesa, Gunnison, and Eagle counties. Red Flag Warnings are in effect until 9 PM on Sunday for Mesa, Pitkin, Eagle, and Garfield counties. Temperatures on Monday will warm up into the upper 70s to lower 80s for most of the valleys. Expect mostly sunny skies and winds to be out of the W at 5 to 10 mph. High temperatures really start to warm back up on Tuesday, as high pressure takes hold of our weather pattern for a few days. Expect some areas to reach the lower 90s under mostly sunny skies. Isolated showers are possible in the higher elevations on Wednesday but most regions will remain dry throughout the week. Meteorologist Brian Germ
