Weather forecast for the Isle of Man - Laa valentine - 14 Toshiaght Arree Detailed forecast Issued on Friday, 14 February 2014 at 8:50am by Ronaldsway Met Office Starting dry this morning, but rain or sleet will move in around late morning, turning heavy and giving a risk of localised flooding. The rain will initially fall as snow on high ground, and as the east or southeast winds become gale force or possibly severe gale force in places there will be a period of blizzards above about 600 feet with moderate falls of snow. However, the snow will then turn to rain later in the afternoon, even on the hilltops, as milder air arrives and the winds start to ease. Temperatures will be around 4 or 5 Celsius for much of the day, before rising to 8 Celsius later. Through this evening and overnight there will be further outbreaks of rain, with winds becoming light for a time before strengthening from the northwest later. Sunrise: 7:42am Today Sunset: 5:25pm Today Outlook Cold and quite windy on Saturday with outbreaks of rain in the morning, falling as snow on the hills, but then drier and brighter conditions will arrive for the afternoon. Then a fairly quiet day on Sunday, dry and bright for much of the day, although rain will move in from the west around dusk.
