Becoming rather cloudy though. Minimum Temperature 14 C. Monday: Rather cloudy initially, otherwise a day of sunny spells and scattered showers, these occasionally heavy and thundery. Southwesterly breezes. Maximum Temperature 21 C. Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Dry, bright Tuesday morning, then cloud increasing with some rain later. Occasional rain on Wednesday with some brightness later. Becoming mainly dry, sunny and hot on Thursday, perhaps thundery later. West Midlands West Midlands Updated: 1441 on Sun 28 Jul 2013 Headline: Showers dying away later tonight before returning tomorrow. This Evening and Tonight: Some pleasant spells of sunshine this evening, but also a scattering of showers, some of these heavy. The showers will continue into the night, before clearing northwards through the early hours to leave most places dry by dawn. Minimum Temperature 14 C. Monday: Bright or sunny spells at first, but through the morning the cloud will bubble up with scattered showers breaking out. Some of these will be heavy and possibly thundery. Maximum Temperature 22 C. Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Sunny spells on Tuesday but perhaps some rain later in south. Longer periods of rain spreading north during Wednesday ahead of sunnier but very warm and humid conditions on Thursday. This Evening and Tonight: Rain clearing Northeast Scotland this evening and winds easing. Otherwise some clear spells, although scattered sharp showers in southern and central areas this evening, moving into northern England by the early hours. Patchy fog developing by dawn in northern areas. Monday: Warm sunny spells for most areas, but also scattered heavy showers developing, some of these with hail and thunder, especially towards southwestern areas. Rather breezy in the south. Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Sunshine and showers, but perhaps longer periods of rain developing in the south on Tuesday, this moving north on Wednesday. Becoming very warm on Thursday, perhaps hot in Southeast England. UK Outlook for Friday 2 Aug 2013 to Sunday 11 Aug 2013: Friday is likely to be very warm in eastern areas and locally hot in southeast England, although there will also be an increasing risk of thundery rain developing. Elsewhere, there will be a mixture of sunshine and showers and temperatures will probably be closer to normal. During next weekend these somewhat fresher conditions in the north and west will erratically edge eastwards, leading to a risk of further thundery rain in southeastern areas. The unsettled theme will then probably continue, with a risk of rain or showers in many areas, perhaps thundery at times. Southern and southeastern areas will see an increasing chance of more prolonged drier spells and temperatures in these areas may continue to be warm at times. Elsewhere, temperatures will generally be close to average.
