Although the showers will mostly die away, it will remain windy, with temperatures dipping under largely clear skies towards dawn. Minimum Temperature 6 C. Tuesday: After a dry, bright and breezy start, cloud will soon move in from the southwest to bring rain for a time, before perhaps becoming drier and brighter late on. Maximum Temperature 12 C. Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Brighter again Wednesday with sunny spells, but still rather cool and breezy with isolated showers. Cloudier for a time Thursday with some rain, improving later to leave Friday largely fine. West Midlands Updated: 1610 on Mon 16 Sep 2013 Headline: Showers easing tonight. Tomorrow windy with rain arriving by dawn. This Evening and Tonight: A cool night with showers soon dying out to leave clear skies for a time with winds easing. Cloud will then thicken from the west overnight, though staying mainly dry. Minimum Temperature 8 C. Tuesday: Rain will quickly spread eastwards to all parts of the region through the morning, with some heavier bursts at times. Perhaps becoming rather windy across southern parts of the region. Maximum Temperature 14 C. Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Mainly dry and sunny on Wednesday. Rain for most on Thursday, while Friday will see a fair amount of sunshine across the region. This Evening and Tonight: Blustery showers in the north west will continue. Elsewhere, the showers will ease which will allow skies to clear, leaving a generally chilly night. Cloud and rain spreading into the far west by dawn. Tuesday: Rain in western parts will spread east across southern parts, with some heavy bursts and strong winds in the far south. A few showers across the north and winds easing. Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Mostly dry Wednesday with a few showers, mainly in the west. Thursday brings rain to many places, before it turns more settled with a fair amount of sunshine on Friday. UK Outlook for Saturday 21 Sep 2013 to Monday 30 Sep 2013: A bright yet cool start on Saturday to a rather fine day with good sunny spells and light winds, particularly in eastern and southeastern parts. It will gradually cloud over in western parts through the day with some patchy rain and drizzle in the northwest, with freshening winds here too. This patchy rain is likely to continue through Sunday while central and southeastern parts see another largely fine and dry day. Into next week, central and southern parts may well see a lot of settled weather with generally light winds, and it will feel rather warm at times. Northwestern parts will also see some drier brighter periods, however there is a greater risk here for more changeable weather and unsettled spells of rain, and even some strong winds at times.
