Weather update: At this point we have closed the Horseshoe Park community arena. We have also shut down Sonoqui Wash trail heads. This is a preemptive measure just because this wash has the potential of flash flooding. No flows in the wash as of yet. The Queen Creek wash trails remain open because we have the ability to foresee flows due to basins upstream that we monitor. The parks are not closed yet we will reevaluate in an hour to determine whether or not we can open them for this evening.
