Weather update from Kevin: Thundery rain will clear to the northwest early this afternoon with sunny periods developing along with a few scattered showers. Winds will be light or moderate from the southwest, but stronger in gusts and around the coast at times. Max Temp: 16. Tonight: It will be mostly dry with just a few scattered showers persisting towards the far west and Scilly. Clear spells will also develop and this will allow mist and fog patches to develop again. Light or moderate southwesterly winds will back to the south or southeast during the night. Min Temp: 6C. Wednesday: After early mist and fog clears, it will become a mostly dry day with sunny spells, patchy cloud and perhaps a few isolated showers. However, towards evening cloud will start to increase from the southeast. Light or moderate south or southeasterly winds will back to the northeast and become fresh at times. Max Temp: 18C
