Weather warning 18 July 2014 The Met Office forecasts possible heavy rain, strong winds and thunderstorms from early Saturday morning and over the weekend. The weather warning has increased from Yellow to Amber and forecasts are predicting the storm to arrive in the North East from Saturday morning through to midday bringing with it 70-75mm of rain in 2 hours which could cause surface water flooding. We could also see lightning strikes and strong winds where the storm hits. This could cause significant disruption for motorists and cyclists. JUST INTIME FOR ME TO BE AT WORK. AWESOME. >_
