Wednesday 10 September: today’s energy is like Termite Termite came out of the deck again this morning, so today’s energy will be much like last Monday, a day for team players. Termites are real team players; they even work blindly in the dark. Today is a time when co-operation is more important than individual thought, even to the point of blind obedience. Termites can build large, complex structures through co-operation or equally can destroy a large building just as easily as they build. Termites don’t care so long as they are working with the crowd. The main lesson is that termites don’t ask questions; the ethic is cooperation and team-work, not asking questions or standing back to get the long view. You may never know whether you were a creator or a destroyer when you work with termite magic. Your satisfaction today will come not from the results of your efforts or from setting goals and taking the lead, but through the process of working with others to achieve a common goal.
