A trough crossing Tasmania will move to the east this evening with a cold front to cross the state overnight. A high will move over the Bight during Wednesday and extend a ridge north of Tasmania. Another high will develop over the Tasman Sea on Thursday with the ridge to persist near the north of the state. A northerly flow will increase over Tasmania on Friday as a trough and cold front move across the Bight and the ridge moves to the east.
