YOU SHALL TOIL NO MORE “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thyword I will let down the net.” Luke 5:5. The toiling spirit is the spirit that makes you work under hard conditions without profit. It is the spirit behind non-achievement; activity without productivity; so much stress without gain; it makes you work like an elephant and eat like an ant. God never planned for us to toil in life rather He promised to bless the works of our hands. Peter toiled all night, a time he had no reason to fail yet he failed. He failed at the very point where he always succeeded. Child of God, when the toiling spirit sets in, even that which you know how to do will cease to work for you. You begin to fail at a place where you have always succeeded. It hinders the efforts of men. But I speak over you as one sent by God, you shall toil no more; I break every yoke of toiling over your life and I command the spirit of toiling to be destroyed. The works of your hands are blessed in Jesus’ name. QUOTE: What makes a man successful in life and destiny is God’s favour not the man’s labour.
