Wednesday 4th September 2013 Topic Wisdom MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 4: 7 - 9: 7Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9 She shall give to thy head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. NOTE: Work is a worthy and necessary pursuit if we’re to accomplish all that God asks of us. As a Christian, your role in the work force is very vital. We are the ones to set the pace. We owe it to God and to our employers to provide quality service whatever our duties are. wisdom empowers us to achieve extraordinary results by combining our knowledge and experience with powerful thinking which comes from God. Through Wisdom we can ……. Harness the collective potential of our colleagues or employees as it applies. We can build strong teams that collaborate with each other Create maximum alignment and engagement among ourselves to achieve optimum result. God the Almighty and our father is the giver of ‘Wisdom’. Ask Him and He will freely give. It is His desire to give us whatsoever we ask according to His will and Wisdom is His Will to give. OTHER BIBLE TEXT: James 1: 5 & 6 ¶ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, not wavering: for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. PRAYER: Father we thank you for Wisdom today. Your word says it is your will to give us Wisdom, therefore we ask in accordance to your will for the ‘Wisdom ‘that will distinguish us in our work places and in our Careers at large. We thank you for we know you hear us and we receive ‘Wisdom’ today in Jesus Name, Amen!
