Wednesday 6:00 AM Prayer December 4, 2013 Todays Meditation: Psalm 102-I Found The Cure! Theme: A Cure for Distress......I Found the Cure! Psalm 102- Hear my prayer, O Lord And let my cry come to You. Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble: Incline Your ear to me; In the day that I call, answer me speedily.......But You O Lord shall endure forever and the remembrance of Your name to all generations. You will arise and have mercy on Zion. For the time to favor her, yes the set time has come...For the Lord will build up Zion, He shall appear in His Glory. He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer....... Are you feeling afflicted physically, emotionally, psychologically? Are you overwhelmed with lifes struggles and challenges? Do you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and you just cany cope? You are trying to balance God, family, work, career and ministry. Everybody is putting pressure on you and pulling on you and draining you of your strength. Bills are due, problems are mounting, cant find no relief. You feel like your all alone in a desert or wilderness. You even feel like God has rejected and abandoned you. You are overwhelmed and feeling a little depressed over the holidays. If this describes your situation, Hold on dont despair, Ive FOUND THE CURE. The cure is in Christ Jesus and the prescription is PRAYER. The Psalmist who wrote Psalm 102 is afflicted, and overwhelmed by lifes struggles. Rather than complain for the sake of complaining , He pours out his complaint before God. He cries out to God to help him and give him answers. The Cure is in prayer. The cure is in Jesus Christ! You are not alone, You dont have to handle this by yourself. Accept Gods help and the prayers of others who God has appointed to help you and support you. If you cry out to God, He will answer you! He will build up Zion. He will have mercy on Zion. There is a set time for your deliverance. Gods love for us is eternal. He is always there for us. David said, This poor man cried and the Lord heard him and delievered him from all his troubles. In the day of your trouble, lean on God. He is our comfort & our strength. He is our healer and our Delieverer. Even when we are too weak to fight, we can lean on God. It is often when we recognize our weaknesses, that Gods greatest strength becomes available. Problems and heartaches can overwhelm us and cause us to feel that God has rejected us. But God our Creator is eternally with us and will keep all His promises, even though we feel all alone. The world will perish, but God is forever. The cure for your distress is in prayer and in the name of Christ Jesus. FIND THE CURE! Have blessed day in the Lord and take your spiritual medicine, and begin to heal!
