Wednesday: A lot of cloud around today with a scattering of showers, some heavy especially towards the NW. There will be some sunny spells, these more prevalent towards the Black Isle, Lochaber, Orkney & Inverness. Breezy again, especially towards the north coast, Orkney & Shetland. Max 18c at best. Showers will continue overnight, especially further north you go where it will remain breezy. Just the odd shower elsewhere ans some clear spells.Min 8c Thursday will be much the same, rather a lot of cloud with scattered showers, some heavy ones with the risk of thunder. A fresh northerly breeze, especially along the north and west coast. Friday will see the showers mostly dying out with all of us seeing some sunshine, winds will ease too. A chilly night will follow. Saturday will start bright and dry but rain will reach the NW during the morning and sweep across all parts through the day. Becoming windy again. Sunday will be cool and windy with showers. Cool and unsettled into the start of next week with strong northerly winds and further showers. By midweek winds will ease and showers will also become less frequent, with clear spells developing overnight there is a risk of a frost in sheltered glens. Please remember to like/share this
