Wednesday I saw the vet and went to Rite Aid to pick up her new prescription. All day yesterday little Chowder was lethargic, still wouldnt eat, but did drink small amounts from a bottle. She seemed to perk up for a bit right after each dose of the new antibiotic. Today shes still all stuffy nosed and her eyes were back to being puffy, but overall she was more playful. Still snubbed food/water but was excited for the bottle and would grab it from me with her paws and shove it in her mouth. She drank quite a bit, then slept most of the day. This evening I placed her with her siblings to see if a community chow down would entice her to eat- and it did! She ate a few bites of kibble before coming back downstairs and asking for her bottle ( kept sucking at my fingers when I picked her up) Shes 3 months, so a tad big for a bottle -but if it gets her to eat Im glad to give it to her!
