Wednesday, July 3, 2013 we lost Jacqui Morgan – cherished sister, beloved friend, esteemed colleague, valued associate, inspirational educator, iconic illustrator, acclaimed visual artist, renowned watercolor painter, noted author, and damn nice, elegant, beautiful lady. She was a popular Illustration Department professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC since 2000 and was conducting her flagship course IL 126 Watercolor Compositions as usual for the summer semester. Jacqui Morgan’s FIT memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, September 19th from 5:15–6:30 pm at the Katie Murphy Amphitheatre in the Pomerantz Center (D-Building, 27th Street at Seventh Avenue).
