Wednesday Student League Match Reports The Botswana Beauties 17 - 1 Iron Tigers This game Botswana Beauties completely controlled with their great passing and moving around the pitch, with some great goals being scored. Iron Tigers got what some would say was a consolation goal whilst others would say it was luck but overal a good performance from Botswana Beauties. The Inbetweeners 4 - 7 La Dida United Inbetweeners took the lead early on with them scoring the first two goals. As the game went on La Dida United got into their stride and started scoring goals for fun. Later in the game they took the lead and held on to it, to pick up all three points. Inbetweeners got two more goals but it just wasnt enough this evening. If Carlsberg Did 5 a Side 13 - 8 The Minions A decent game from both teams this evening, with both teams desperate for the victory. Curtis of If Carlsberg Did 5 a Side scored the goal of the night, but it wasnt enough to get him the man of the match, with captain Michael Layland walking away with that title this evening. The first half was full of goals and very competitive; it was as though The Minions gave up in the second half with them simply accepting defeat. Pink Panthers 7 - 6 Bolivias Finest Cracking game of football with both teams battling from start to finish, Dom of Pink Panthers played well this evening inspiring his team to victory. Bolivias Finest should have won the game in the first half, but too many missed chances meant Pink Panthers displayed a great come back to go on and collect all three points. Sons of Pitches 3 - 11 Steal Your Girl FC Steven of Steal Your Girl FC produced a dominated display for his side this evening, as Sons of Pitches were looking beaten quite early on in the game, their heads dropped and their opposition went away with the three points. Overall Steal Your Girl bossed the game and completely deserved their victory this evening. Woodlane 15 - 1 Out of Gas FC Woodlane were a real dominant force in this fixture this evening as they beat a weakened out of gas side. They took all their chances and produced some great tricks all round, with them going away with all three points. Out of Gas battled well from start to finish but simply did not have enough to compete this evening.
