Wednesday Update: Todays lesson will be over PATIENCE. Just call me Job. Steph and I made it back from New Orleans last night around 8:00 pm. All things went well while we were in New Orleans. Steph and I actually got some well deserved relaxation and spent some time actually doing some tourism. The last time we were there, we didnt get to do a lot of fun things. Now for the patience part. All the test they ran while we were in New Orleans came back negative. The liver is functioning great and looking awesome. They still have not pinpointed a reason for the fluid. Their guess is: They said my lymphatic system is still working like it has a diseased liver. It has not made the adjustment to the new liver yet. They are still saying it will eventually stop. PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE!!!! Woohoo!!!! By the time it stops, I ought to be the most patient person on earth. I went to St. Michaels this morning and got drained. They got 8.2 liters off of me this morning. Im still producing it like a champ. Like Steph said, Im and overachiever. Anyway, all things are looking good with my new liver. Gods timing is not our timing and He sees the whole picture. Keep praying for us. We would not make it without yall. Now, for the wonderful blessing that Steph and I received yesterday on the way home. We were able to stop in Echo, LA and visit the grave site of the wonderful man that donated his liver so that I might live. His name was Donald Victor Gaspard. He was born May 30, 1941 and he passed away on February 2, 2014. He has a wonderful family and we have plans in the near future to meet them. Always keep them in your prayers. We love yall, Mikey and Steph
