Wednesday Weekend Update: To help your planning, heres a sampling of whats going on in your national park this weekend! On Saturday, April 12, well open our collection facility inside the reconstructed fort for the monthly Museum Collection Open House, with tours of the collections exploring the theme of “Dining at Fort Vancouver” starting at both 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Learn more and reserve a spot at go.usa.gov/B9PT . Also on Saturday, historian Pat Jollota will be at our Visitor Center bookstore for a book signing between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Stop by and purchase a signed copy of her new publication “Vanishing Vancouver” and learn more about the community’s rich past. The park’s McLoughlin House Unit in Oregon City, Oregon, will host the monthly Victorian Cultural Demonstration on Saturday from Noon to 4 p.m. Drop by and learn how to create a memento of spring using pressed flowers!
