An old man once said “ The Fear of VIO and Road Safety is the beginning of ___ (fill the GAP) Can you remember that awkward moment when you are about to board a bus and the bus driver suddenly speeds off and you begin to imagine what must have happened? Could it be that you were too sluggish in boarding the bus or the driver changed his mind concerning your route or he saw a ghost? The truth is, all the options are correct and the most possible is that, he must have seen a ghost in uniform. Yes, in uniform. It could have been a Police, Mopol, Road Safety Officer, Traffic Warden, Soldier etc. But never get it twisted, Most drivers on Nigerian roads will never flee at the sight of a traffic warden (Yellow Fever as they are fondly called) just so you know. Knowing that these drivers flee at the sight of these uniform men, a great concern has been drawn to which one of them is most feared by drivers be it commercial or private car owners. Members of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) used to be the most dreaded security men on our roads. So which of them is feared most... FRSC, VIO, POLICE... Why?
