Week 3 Power Rankings 1. Denver Broncos (2-0) Beat last 2 super bowl champs handily to start season. 2. Seattle Seahawks (2-0) The most dangerous team at home brown their own loudness record 3. New England Patriots (2-0) Has issues at WR, but with cake schedule, might still get 12 wins 4. New Orleans Saints (2-0) Starting strong with 2 division wins to start the season 5. Houston Texans (2-0) 2 comeback wins shows resiliency, but should’ve won handily in both games 6. Atlanta Falcons (1-1) Righted ship with win at home vs St Louis, but lost Steven Jackson for multiple weeks with injury. 7. San Francisco 4934s (1-1) Embarrassing showing in Seattle for 2nd consecutive game 8. Green Bay Packers (1-1) Green Bay had 450 yd passer, and 125 yd rusher. 1st time ever that has happened in NFL history. 9. Chicago Bears (2-0) Barely escaped turnover-riddled game vs division rival Minnesota. 10. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) Andy Reid & Co next stop on NFC redemption tour… Philadelphia. 11. Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) There might be a change in guard in backfield with emergence of Gio Bernard. 12. Miami dolphins (2-0) Big win at Indy, now has difficult task of Atlanta at home in week 3. 13. Dallas Cowboys (1-1) Dallas inability to come through in the clutch still plagues this team. 14. Indianapolis Colts (1-1) Needs to find running game to compliment and take pressure off Andrew Luck. 15. Baltimore Ravens (1-1) They’re really missing Boldin, and now will miss Ray Rice with injury. 16. Arizona Cardinals (1-1) After blowing lead last week on road, erased 12 point deficit at home without best offensive weapon Fitzgerald down the stretch. 17. San Diego Chargers (1-1) Is Rivers back? 7 TD’s in 1st 2 games is definitely a good start. 18. Tennessee Titans (1-1) ALMOST stole a big division game on road in Houston. 19. Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) One of NFL’s best offenses still can’t keep up with one of NFL’s worst defenses. 20. Detroit Lions (1-1) Blew 12 point lead with Fitzgerald out for Arizona, unacceptable for Lions. 21. New York Giants (0-2) Eli’s feeling the pressure because Giants defense can’t stop anybody. 22. Washington Redskins (0-2) If they play 2nd half like the 1st, they might get a win this week. 23. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-2) Please block someone!!! –Big Ben talking to his offensive line. 24. St Louis Rams (1-1) Couldn’t pull out win against St Louis great Steven Jackson and Falcons. 25. Buffalo Bills (1-1) E.J. Manuel gets one for the scoreboard in 2013 26. Carolina Panthers (0-2) Cam, Panthers need to learn how to close out a win late in games. 27. Minnesota Vikings (0-2) 28th in yards allowed and Ponder’s 5 turnovers in 1st 2 games is not a recipe for success. 28. New York Jets (1-1) Geno Smith looked good until late in the game when it matters. 29. Oakland Raiders (1-1) How many more times can the Raiders play the Jags? 30. Tampa Bay Buccs (0-2) Another heatbreaking loss in the final seconds, and Revis doesn’t like his new coach. 31. Cleveland Browns (0-2) Already terrible offense might be missing their starting QB. 32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) They have 1 offensive TD in 2 games. Enough said. Biggest movers: Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Chargers, Tennessee Titans all up 8 spots.
