Weekly Announcements Super and Souper Bowl Sunday: Feb 2 We are collecting for the Souper Bowl of Caring this Sunday, so please bring non-perishable food items for the 2nd Harvest food bank. It is also ‘Super Bowl’ Sunday, and the annual Super Bowl party will be held at Paul and Kerri’s place. Kick off is 3:00 PM. Bring a friend! Crosswalk is Looking for Volunteers Crosswalk is a youth shelter that Bethany has committed to support. Every 2nd Tuesday Bethany volunteers make and serve a home cooked meal for the youth and volunteers there. It is a marvelous opportunity to help kids in need. Our volunteers come in two categories. The easiest way to volunteer and learn the ropes is as a helper. Helpers show up around 5:00 on that Tuesday and support the meal planner in cooking and serving the dinner. The other way to help is to be the meal planner. The meal planner is responsible for coming up with a meal plan, providing the ingredients and bringing them to the full service kitchen. There, with help from Nate and any helpers, the food is prepped, cooked, and served to the grateful youth. If either of these rolls sound interesting to you, please sign up and talk to Kerri. 3rd Saturdays: Building & Grounds Show up at Bethany on every 3rd Saturday at 9:00am, have some conversation/coffee, and then engage a project Richard might suggest for us to work on that day. (Inside or outside) We need hands to do ‘em! So put it on your calendar! Feb 22, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 21 (the longest day of the year!!)
