Weekly Challenge V1.1 Hi Everyone. The weekly challenge really seems to have captured everyones imagination, its fantastic to see so many amazing photographs getting posted, both as part of the challenge and to the group in general. I truly feel blessed to be a part of this group with all you lovely people. Ian and I have come up with a new plan for the weekly challenge. We wanted a way to make it easier for both us to keep track of and for you good people to browse. We will commence the new challenge after this one has finished. These are the new instructions for the weekly challenge: 1. The Challenge topic will be announced on a Friday night after 5pm or on Saturday morning at the latest. This gives everyone a bit of time over the weekend to think about it all 2. Entries for the challenge can then be submitted from 5pm on a Sunday. This coming Sunday you will see a new pinned post at the top, this will contain an album for you to post your entries to. We will include instructions on how to add photos to the album for those of you that are unsure. If all entries are uploaded into one album then it makes it easier for us to manage and for everyone to browse. Its easy for posts to get missed in the current format. 3. We want to limit the entries to 4 per person. So only 4 entries for the weekly challenge per person week into the challenge album. However, if you have more similar themed photos that you want to share, there are still no restrictions on the amount of photos you post to the group. So you can post 4 entries into the challenge folder as part of the challenge but you are very welcome to share more with the group on the main wall :). Remember, there are no restrictions on the amount of photos you can post to the group (outside of the challenge) and there never will be. We took the decision to limit it to 4 entries to make it more of a challenge and to make it easier to keep track of it all. I hope everyone understands and is okay with it. 4. Ideally it would be great to see new photos - as opposed to archive ones - as that was my theory behind the original challenge. I understand its difficult to find time to take new photos sometimes though, so this isnt a rule its just a guideline. If you only have some archive photos to enter then post away - I know I struggle to get my camera out sometimes. 5. The only real rule I want to push here is.... have fun with it all. Thats what this is all about, for me at least. To have some fun and take inspiration from others and maybe inspire others to take photographs ;) The winner will be announced on a Friday night and the new challenge will be set. We have thought long and hard about this and we have decided that we will set the challenge each week. However, we are asking for input from you all.
