Weimer was the son of Jacob O. Siler, Sr. & his wife Rachel Teague. When he was a teen, he and his father, mother, brothers and sisters came from North Carolina to Knox County, KY To settle. He married Margaret Moad/Mode there on November 25, 1827. From the Siler Family Book: Weimar was an expert violinist, and once won a noted violin that was played by Calahan before he was hanged. Calahan said he would play a difficult piece, and that he would give the violin to anyone in the crowd who could duplicate the feat. Weimar was the only one who could play it, and so won the violin. Weimar died on April 22, 1848. We have no dates on Sarah, nor do we have much information on her children.
