Welcome Home old Friend. Today saw the return of 59003 YEOMAN HIGHLANDER. This loco was part of a four loco order in 1985 and delivered to Foster Yeoman in 1986. In 1996 stone traffic in the Mendips saw a downturn and 003 was sent to Germany for annishal 2 years. It was sold to a private German operator a few years later. 17 years later GBRf has brought her back to the UK. Today she was dragged from Immingham Docks to Eastleigh Works where she will undergo upgrade work and a repaint into GBRf colours. She is due for realise in mid December. Glad to see the OLD GIRL back!, its been too long..I never managed to see her in Germany although it wasnt for the want of trying..
