Welcome Houston Area RC’s New Staff Members Nick Harp and James Mulkey! I’ve been doing most of the H.A.R.C. series work myself since its’ inception with Mulkey helping on the points and a few others helping from a consulting standpoint for the last few years. I am extremely grateful for the help that I’ve received thus far and the support from all of the local tracks, shop owners/managers, and local racers! H.A.R.C. Continues to grow each year, and we have more and more new members each month. It has grown to a point where it needs additional people to be able to communicate, help, and reach out to all of the new members. It has also come to a point where in order to grow, we’re going to need some fresh perspectives…….not just my own! So, I’d like to thank and welcome James Mulkey and Nick Harp as official H.A.R.C. staff members! Mulkey and Nick have been racing with us for several years now, and have more then passed their test with me. They’ve proven that they are true “people” persons, consistent attendees, good leaders, and have the mindset to listen to people’s opinions even if they differ from their own and then take the good from them and apply it to the good of the group. They have organized and/or managed many groups outside of RC, and bring those talents and experience to the table with H.A.R.C. For 2014, I will continue to be the primary leader for the group, and James & Nick will begin assisting answering questions, communicating with track owners & managers, assisting with promotion and information on RCFiles and on our Facebook page. They will also continue to help with maintenance, calculation, and posting of results and points. For 2015, James and Nick will become the primary leaders for H.A.R.C., and I will begin taking a back-seat, consultant type role. I’m not going anywhere, but I believe that fresh management changes and ideas are the key to long-term growth. James, Nick, and Myself have a fantastic season we are going to line up for you guys, with some great new changes going to come to you for 2015 that will take this series to the next level. So please help join me and welcome Nick and James to the team, and be sure to ask them plenty of questions at the upcoming races and on RC Files!
