I keep busy operating a Quizno’s franchise, that we’ve owned since 2001, being an involved PTA mom, blogging and DIY crafting, where I sell my creations at a local store! Our Quizno’s history is more of a sit and visit for hours over a bottle of wine (or 3), so I’ll just say in the past few years it’s been challenging! Fortunately my husband’s job is secure, but our Quizno’s isn’t exactly helping to pave the way for retirement, therefore I was in search of a Plan B. That’s when a friend introduced me to R+F. It didn’t take long and I fell in love with the products, the business aspect and the amazing group of people I get to call business partners. The biggest advantage is that I work on my R+F business mostly on the phone driving around in my car! This will be the vehicle that allows me to continue to do what I love most and that’s being front and center for my daughter and family on a daily basis! Emily ~ I’m a busy wife and mom to five kids between the ages of 2 and 9. I’m a “retired” chemist, turned chemistry teacher, turned stay at home mom. I’ve always been a bit of an entrepreneur; I ran a wedding cake business in grad school, and for the past 8 years I have operated a custom infant/toddler clothing business on etsy (myemmybaby) out of my home. Though, I certainly didn’t see myself ever getting into direct sales…sounded like too much work! My husband has an extremely demanding job so going “back to work” full time isn’t realistic for me with so many young kids. I have always been interested in (ok, obsessed with) skincare and sun protection, having had melanoma about 10 years ago. I have tried and used every product under the sun - I am a product junkie! I was using another line of skincare for several years which I NEVER thought I’d break up with. One evening, I had wine with a friend who had been in the R&F business for a long time, trusted her recommendation and opinion, so decided to sign up just to “get the discount. In the weeks that followed, I completely drank the kool-aid and jumped in with both feet! I’ve been impressed with the products, the company, all the people I’ve had an opportunity to be involved with, and I’ve been able to run my business in the little nooks and crannies of my life quite easily!
